Hi I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on urgent referrals. I’ve had two clear smears in the past year from march 2018 and March 2019. However high risk HPV was detected in both. I have light spotting between periods. Have been back and forth to the doctors over the past year. Where I was constantly told there was nothing to worry about. So finally went back today explained my anxiety’s. The doctor has a look and said it look a bit bumpy on one side. She said this can be quite normal sometimes. But she did however say someone had examined you in March and had said everything looked normal. So this stressed me out even more. I feel sick I dunno why as it could be nothing. I’m 29 and have a four year old daughter. I wondered how soon you find out your results? And if it’s protocol to be called in, to receive them. I feel a slight relief that I’ve had two clear smears. But I still can’t help but worry.
