Hi guys, 

Just wondering if anyone has experienced same. I've noticed a large, pointy cone shaped growth inside my vagina. It is not sore or uncomfortable (only noticed it as it's becoming harder to wear tampons). I've had cramp like aches in my lower back and pelvis, and a pretty constant ache in my left groin (sitting, standing, lying down, it never goes)since Feb this year. I've also been waking up during the night covered in sweat and am finding I'm irritable and emotional more than usual. No irregular bleeding, weightloss or anything like that. My last smear test was about 9 yrs ago. First smear was irregular, underwent a colposcopy and a LETZ procedure. Two regular smears after this procedure were negative. These smears were back home in Ireland, however, the cervical smear scandal which recently came to light has my gut hitting the floor. I'm 36 and mum to one awesome 18yr old who is starting uni this September. I really want to leave my head in the sand but my gut instinct refuses to let my mind rest. I wonder if perhaps I am hitting early menopause as my periods have become dark and clotty yet not as heavy...?
