I can understand why you are feeling worried as you did not expect to get this text letting you know you have a gynaecology appointment at the hospital but try not to worry too much and anticipate why this might be. It won't be long now until you get more details about your smear results. Have you tried asking the hospital whether there is someone you could talk to who would be willing to provide additional information or tell you more about your smear results? You could mention that you are worried about it and don't know why you have been given this appointment. 

Hopefully you won't have to wait too long now before you get your appointment and have some definite answers. I am keeping everything crossed for you!

Thank you for your reply......turns out I have CIN3 (sereve) which is completely a shock as my last smear 3 years ago was clear. I can hardly sleep or eat completely stressed out I have read both positive and negative experiences but I suffer with aniexty which causes my mind in over drive.
