Lymph node biopsy private cost?

Hi there

I went to the GP yesterday and I've been referred for a biopsy to see if I could have lymphoma.

I've been told in my area (Kensington) that the wait time for an appointment could be up to 6 weeks.

Does anyone know a rough cost if I was to go private! I don't mind travelling for it.

I’m going tommorow. I can let you know a definite price tommorow. I’m in South Wales though. I believe it’s going to cost me £500 for consultation & mammogram/ ultrasound depending what’s required. I believe a biopsy is £600 on top but I guess this would be more in London

Ask your GP for an urgent referral. They can do that with suspected cancer. That’s 2/3 weeks. You need to impress upon your GP that the wait is agony. Of course it is!
