Hi. I'm 26 and during a routine smear 8 weeks ago the nurse felt an abnormality. After a referral to Dr and then ultrasound I was told I had a large ovarian cyst 13cm x 10cm. Blood tests came back normal so very relieved! Following CT scan I have now been sent for MRI for clearer picture. MRI is not in local hospital and have a 2 week wait. Gynacologist said it's unclear where the cyst has developed and it could actually be on my spine which is why MRI is needed. My worry is that if it is on my spine....the Ca125 blood test would have appeared normal and it could still be cancerous? It's been weeks of waiting and am very worried and fustrated. Have been told the opp waiting list is 8-10 weeks and not on it yet!!! Feeling tired and have awfull lower back pain. Struggling with going to work and just feeling very fed up with the waiting. Any advice or similar experiences?
