Hi There, I'm not sure if this is odd or not but just looking for some advice really. I'm 27, years ago I noticed a lump on one of my testicles, at the age of 12, like a really big one, I say that I have 3 testicles... :) I went to the doctors to get it checked and remember being reffered to the hospital but I have no recollection of what they said because it was so long ago, I think I had some kind of scan.

Anyway, fast forward to now, it's still there. My fiance mentioned it last week when we were on holiday and asked me to get it checked again, so I felt it and I'm really bad for checking these things and haven't done it in a while, but I think it's grown a bit it's about 1.5cm in size, not much but it does feel bigger and tender to touch. My partner only mentioned it because someone she'd gone to uni with the same age as us was just recently diagnosed with testicular cancer and she's worried about it. I'd never really thought about but it's started to worry me now.

I think what makes it worse is I can't remember what I was told when I was younger, but it's been there for such a long time, though I don't remember it being a bit tender.

I'm sure I know the answer to this, but should I go and get it checked out again? I mean if it was a cyst, should they be there that long or should they disappear and could it have turned into something more sinister? I really wish I could remember what they said.
