Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to read about what you've been going through - I'm sure this uncertainty is difficult and potentially confusing.

I unfortunately can't advise on your situation, and can only recommend waiting until your hear more from the medical team. They're best placed to advise and in the meantime it's best to try not to worry about what ifs, and to do what you can to keep yourself busy and distracted from the wait. I'm sure this is much easier said than done though.

I hope you don't have long to wait. Do let us know how you get on, if you would like to of course.

Just wondering how you got on?

I telephoned the hospital on Monday and was told the breast cancer secretary was on holiday and there is a back log in radiography. So unfortunately no further forward, thanks for asking x

Hi Lesleyann i hope you hear back soon. I am waiting to recieve a copy of my ultrasound report as i went private but sounds all positive by what i was told yesterday. Was yours because they seen intramarry lymph nodes?

Yes intramammory, so I will sit tight and hope for a good result

Exactly what mine was for. In hindsight I wish I just kept to my NHS appointment but I panicked and went all about it the wrong way 

Had a copy of my ultrasound report come today. Says a 3mm medial breast nodule which is likely to be an Intramammory lymph node and likely to be benign , so that is very good news p

That is good news, I’m still waiting 

I hope you hear back soon. I’ve given my report to my GP but I don’t think any follow up will be needed for me. 

My right boob especially is lumpy and has got worse since my periods stopped
