Hey hey!! Slow down - I'm sure you are worrying unduly about this as you say yourself you are a bit of a hypocondriac, It's probably nothing at all but even if there is something it doesn't necessarily mean it's something awful. Googling is the WORST thing you can do. You are not a doctor & don't understand how to diagnose anything if you're honest?????? I don't either so take a deep breath, keep busy until you get to the appt.& accept that we are all a little bit scared of results of any kind but we have to keep it in proportion. You aren't doing yourself any favours following this forum without a good reason it will only make you worry for no good reason. That's not to say you shouldn't seek reassurance but don't do it because you always fear the worst. My GP says that 9 out of 10 people who are referred for cancer checks come back completely clear. Focus on that :):)

Why not turn >:) into this :) ? Tell yourself it will be ok. Anxiety can make us feel physically ill & at this moment you really don't know that your are.

Just received a text message again notifying me to about the appoinment. My mind is going crazy again, really trying to be positive.

Yes probably they do to put your mind at rest or tell you it's something & nothing & you need some pills for a couple of weeks!! Slow down! You are getting ahead of yourself.:):):)
