hi everyone

been a total rollercoster after going in hospital with chest pain and being told all was well it was pluracy,  then from their multiple emergancy ct i was called back and told it was nothing and we would scan again in three months it was probably somthing to do with my lupus...hoever few days later i recieved a call for an appointmrnt for a bronc and other tesct  lung function he had spoken to another consultant and changed his mind and didnt want to wait.  and pep ct followed. i was told from the start that docs were attempting to rule out cancer, however after a multidocaplinary meeting after the pep...it was thought do i have the tumor removed as this would be the only way to see or do we leave and wait...the consultant took this decision out my habds as he said that in some cases cancer dosent light up on the pep and he thinks it should be removed... i feel like a bit of a fraud as this is cancer research and they havent told me for certain but cant rule it out and gave me a card and um under the cancer team.. this of course was a shock ...i am meeting with the sergeon in a week or so i am 34 and they say that i am young and to remove the portion of lung would be best but i guess ill get more info when i go ...
