I have had a biopsy on my arm. After MRI found lump.. they said after an mdt they will contact me.. why do l need a mdt?
The MDT is just a meeting where the different specialists meet to discuss the patients.(Multi-Disciplinary Team)
You may be contacted and told no further treatment is needed or they may say they need to do further investigations.
