It's so hard not to Google things but it really doesn't help.  I did the same as soon as I left the GP surgery about my mole and I was sobbing when my husband came home from work. Since then I keep reminding myself that Google doesn't know my specific mole and therefore can't give me any answers.  I hope this doesn't come across as patronising as it's really not meant in that way, I would just hate for you to waste the same amount of hours as I have googling when it offers noting but worry. 

Unfortunately, the wait is excruciating.  I'm 3 weeks since my biopsy, 6 weeks since I went to the GP and I'm still waiting.  Hopefully it will be quicker for you.  You never know, the dermatologist might take a look and tell you it's nothing to worry about there and then.  

I hope all is ok and you get some answers soon X

I know the wait is excruciating but try not to jump the gun. Your appointment will be around 2 weeks but it doesn't mean that your new mole will definitely be thought to be cancer. If the dermatologist thinks it needs further investigation they will arrange it's removal for biopsy and then it takes a few weeks for the results. To try and cut down on the stress try to take it one step at a time as you may be worrying about something that doesn't happen. Good luck and please let us know how you get on.
