I went through this in April, my CA125 was 190 and after an MRI scan and a laparoscopy, two tumors were found and I subseqhad them removed by having a full abdominal hysterectomy.  It was successful and I have just finished my first cycle of 6 sessions of chemo, no radiotherapy was necessary.  Please feel free to ask any further questions.

My first cycle was last Friday and for the first 3 days I suffered from the side effects of the medication but apart from that today I am up and about but just taking it easy and taking plenty of rest when I need to.  It’s a case of listening to your body.  I’m not sure how the rest of the treatment will go, I have a 3 week respite before the next cycle.  I feel so lucky that my diagnosis was curable and I’m sure your mums will be too.
