I had a core biopsy done on my right breast almost 2 weeks ago, the consultant told me that she was confident it was just a cyst despite being told when I had the ultrasound & biopsy done it wasn't a cyst as the lump is too solid. The consultant told me I needn't worry too much about booking an appointment for the results as she was confident she'd be writing to me before then to say I have the all clear. 

I booked an appointment regardless but she said she will write to me anyway so I can then cancel the appointment, well I'm now a day away from said appointment & I've had no letter. Now really worried it's not going to be good news. Would they have rang me if it wasnt good news or is the process that you have to wait for your appt?

I've been reasonably calm about it until today cause she said I'd get the letter by Friday last week but as the day is almost upon me I'm feeling a lot worse.
