Hi all

i have recurrent Prostate Cancer but just being monitored at the moment until my PSA hits a level that necessitates further treatment. I am incureable but I’m hoping it can be managed for some time.

But I am now very anxious that I may have bowel cancer. I have had a significant change in bowel movements for 6-8 weeks. My GP has done blood tests and I have sent a stool sample off to check if there is blood in it. I am waiting for the results. I did a similar test in March when I turned 60 but it was normal.

Im not really sure I could cope with another cancer.

Hi mogely, one prostate to another I've been incurable for over 3 years now, oh and welcome to the forum the club nobody wants to join,. If you're like me my specialist wants my psa to get to twenty before more treatment,. Hope to hear from you soon,.

Hi BG
she told me when it reaches 10. I had RP and RT in 2013.
Im more worried with the change in bowel habits at the moment and really hoping it is not bowel cancer.

Hi mogely hope tests come back good,. I understand how you feel i was having real bad pains in both legs went to doctor to check straight away he said it was my cancer spreading i was shocked, anyway couple of weeks later saw oncologist he said straight away it's from side effects of cancer treatment, that was a big relief best wishes.
