Hello am going through hell this last week. Following an US scan for bleeding well mild pink loss monthly, with Mirena coil (am 54), coil in for 5 years then mild pink loss most months. Wind forward 9 months later and had tummy bug, lots of bloating and felt like my womb was palpable. Anyway GP took coil out and had US scan month later to check womb lining. So left adnexal mass was found 9cms. It is described as indeterminate, possibly borderline Mucinous Cystoadenoma. My life has turned upside down. Am now told I will be having frozen section and radical hysterectomy. I was discussed at the MDT meeting and this is what they have decided. Have been told there is a good chance it is still benign. My CA 125 was 5, but cyst has mild vascularity and numerous thin septums. Does anyone have any experience of this?
