So I had my surgery to remove the lesions from my vocal cords 2 weeks ago. I've still not had results back. My consultant did say there could be delays ect on how quick they come back. I phoned today and they said they are still being tested.

How long did anyone wait for results come back?

I've had the good news after surgery that if it is then I will only need a few rounds of radiotherapy as it would be very early on possible stage 0/1 But I'm still trying to keep positive that it will be all clear.

My voice still isn't great after surgery and I bring up quite a lot of bloody mucus which I suppose is normal. Has anyone else experienced this after surgery ?

My concern is the pain in my right hand side throat is bad and was wondering do I go to gp about it or is it just the pain from the incisions made via the lazer used.?
