I'm sorry about the symptoms you've been experiencing Happy and can understand your concern.

Hopefully your scan will get you a step closer to finding out the cause but I'm sure our members who have had similar issues will share their experiences with you soon and offer their support and advice.

Hi im in a similar place to you. I initially went to see my doctor regarding irregular bleeding (my period ended up lasting 18 days this month which has never happened before). My smear results came back normal. Today they have taken swabs and bloods. 

Im having pain in my stomach and bloating which is really uncomfortable. Ive done the really silly thing and googled symptons like mad. I feel like im going out of my mind  to the extent i think i had an anxiety attack in the supermarket earlier. 

Hi, I'm so sorry you are feeling so poorly and having anxiety. I completely understand about googling. We all do it because we are worried but it can make our anxiety worse. I currently in so much pain I'm being sick so got to go back to the doctors tomorrow. 

I hope you get answers soon and it's all positive.

Aww thank you that's so kind. I've been twice since then as in so much pain. On two lots of antibiotics and two lots of pain killers. I think they want to eliminate any pelvis infection while I'm waiting for the scan. However I saw two different doctors one that wants the scan to check for cancer or emdermetrosis the other who thinks a pelvis infection which didn't help. 

How are you? Feeling any better? Any further forward?

Pleased you got in and have been given pain relief hopefully that will take the pain away even though i know it doesnt help with the worry. 

Im not brilliant managed to get through my shift at work yesterday but have another today. Ive got pain  in my right side which has been constant for several hours now where before it was just now and then and the bloating has been quite bad at times. Wish id gone to the doctors yesterday but will have to wait until monday now. Before this last period i had no symptoms that i can think of and now im falling apart. 

The only good thing is i managed a lot more sleep last night.

Are you taking anything to help? Ibuprofen is an anti inflammatory so might help take the edge off. Where I live there is an out of hours doctor that you get access to by calling 111 so if you feel that unwell dont wait till monday. And I'm rubbish at doing this myself but make sure you put your health and wellbeing first and dont over do it with work as I know I get told that everytime I go to the doctors lol

Hope your pain settles down soon and we both get some answers. 

Ive been going between paracetamol and ibuprofen. If it gets unmanageable will call 111 but at the minute it has eased im going for a soak and try to relax. I think the not sleeping is really catching up on me. 

I cant help with the worry at the minute thats why im trying to carry on and go to work to take my mind off of things. 

Fingers crossed for answers soon dont know how long i can carry on like this
