The recall could be the fact that the image is unclear, unless you have been told otherwise?

Hopefully this is the case,and really hope it is.

Personally my recent mammogram recall was cancer, second time round for me, first time in 1991 when I was 29.

The positive thing about the BC being found by mammogram is that it  can be very early stage and not found by ourselves, sounds weird that it’s good news about cancer being found I know.

The waiting is the worst bit ,your mind goes into places you never thought it could.There are lots of people in this forum in the same place.

Everything crossed for you both and keep in touch if you feel up to it.

Thanks so much for your response. The nurse on the phone said there was an are of change. But my Wife has a mammogram 10 years ago.

Went today and not great news they exspect that a very tiny lump 8mm in the left breast will possibly come back as Cancerous due to her previous condition.

She had a biopsy and will find out definitely next Wednesday. My wife was devastated.

So have to see what happens next Wednesday now.

The next week will be like hell, stay strong for each other, this is always the worst bit as your mind goes into overdrive, try and stay off google,if you can.

The result may be not cancer, but I know when I went and had the biopsy they said they were worried so I knew in my heart it was bad news,and it was.

If it is at least it is tiny( mine this time was 6mm) and the chances it’s spread will be so minimal and that’s good news.Your wife would never have found it herself.

I really hope you don’t join this group and will be thinking of you both when you go next week for your result.

Yes I was the same cancer “free” for 28 years doesn’t seem fair that we have to go through again.

Had surgery last week now waiting for lymph node results in 3 weeks then further treatments after that.

7 weeks ago life was normal now it’s a new “normal”
