My friend had the same symptoms and found that she had a parathyroid tumor which was benign thankfully and had this done with an overnight stay but home next day. Have you been referred to anywhere to have this looked into? You will probably need a scan of some sort but make sure that your gp is aware and that they refer you where needed. 

Try not to worry too much though i know it is hard. My friend is doing really well now and i hope yours is ok too :)
