The waiting game

I went to breast clinic week ago, found to have a large mass and also enlarged lymph gland. I had 9 biopsies taken along with markers inserted. I was told I would get a call from a surgeon with the results but I have been called back to the clinic to discuss results this Tuesday. Now I am even more worried and thinking there is something abnormal there in the results.

The waiting game is awful, at least if I know I can deal with the results. Xx

Hi Karen, we all have a good wait it par for the course some handle it better than others, none of us like it but we're stuck with it. Best wishes.

Hi Karen. The waiting really is awful isn't it. If you're anything like me you're driving yourself crazy with all the 'what ifs'.
The fact you've been called in to discuss doesn't necessarily mean it's bad, it could just be easier to explain things in person. Try to keep busy between now and Tuesday.
I hope your appointment goes well and you get good news X

I know we are all going through the same thing and the support is brilliant.
yes keeping busy, cleaned the whole house, been to yoga which is really good for quietening the thoughts.
