Sorry to hear .it is very frightening time x please try stay positive (easy 4 me 2 say I know) what ever your results I have found some lovely people on this site  please update me on results

I'm going through the same thing at the moment. The waiting is awful, I know!

I had my Ultrasound a few days ago, some of my nodes were suspect and so I'm waiting for my ENT and possible biopsy appointment to come through.

Have you had an ENT app? I'm unsure how long these last and what to expect because they didn't really explain what would happen.

Good to hear from someone who understands how I really feel.

My investigates have been the opposite to yours. I’ve had my ENT app this week and ultrasound is next Tuesday.

The ENT appointment was ok it took a week or so to get the date. The consultant asked for the history so far and then I had a nasel endoscopy. Not the most pleasant but not too bad. 

All my mouth, throat etc. all looked good so another tick off the list.

I now have to go back to my family home, a few hours away, tomorrow for the week to help care for a grandparent coming home from hospital who is receiving palliative care. A necessity to say goodbye but I'm going to be ringing my GP asking if my appointment has come through every day.

Hi all, 

i am currently going through this

ive had a large lump on my left side of my neck for around 6 weeks. 2 weeks ago I went to the docs who immediately referred me for an ultrasound. 

Over the last week it has got bigger and now it’s difficult to swallow food, I went back to the gp who was not happy and urgently referred me to ENT

i have my appointment on Thursday and I’m scared.  I’m going to a suspected cancer clinic

 not sure what the process is. 

My bloods came back fine

but I have ear ache, headaches, hot flushes, night sweats, fatigue and generally feeling rubbish

the lump is painful and I have shoulder pain now too

its the not knowing that scares me 

i wish every one on this scary journey well xxx

hi I found a lump in my neck 2 weeks ago went to the doctor she said it’s soft and she’s sending me for a ultrasound but not a urgent one now I am so worried because it’s not going down and I am constantly touching it I am going through a very stressful time at the moment and don’t know if that’s causing it any help or advice please

how did you get on after your referral? My boyfriend has just come back from the doctors after going in with a swollen lymph node on the front of his neck. I am very scared as the doctor has said he has suspected cancer and he has to go to the ENT unit on Tuesday for further tests. He also suffers badly with night sweats and has swollen nodes in his groin area also. He used to have very small swollen lympnodes on his neck but they came and went and thought nothing of it. He is early 20s. As his new lump is so big (size of strawberry) he went to the doctors today about it and that is what they said Doctors were very concerned. I am so terrified. I haven't stopped thinking about it
