You shouldn’t worry too much, I’m glad you’ve made an appointment to put your mind at rest. 

When I was 16 I had a lump in my breast and went to the doctors to get it checked out, the doctor told me that my breasts are naturally quite lumpy. Some women have many nodules/lumps in the breasts that are completely benign/normal. The doctor was not at all concerned and sent me home. I still have these lumps aged 23, I believe this may be what you have, though I am not a medical professional so it’s always best to have them check.

Also just wanted to say, considering you’ve had these lumps since age 11 it’s highly unlikely that it is cancer. They may have become larger over the years as our breasts grow and change as we get older - including any lumps.

And be wary of checking breasts for lumps at certain stages in your menstrual cycle - as lumps may appear bigger when the breasts are fuller and tender, which is natural.

Hi Ladybug - normal to have lumpy breasts. I've had similar, and then all of a sudden there was a trigger and i got paranoid about a lump - were all just cysts has happened to so many of my girlfriends. 

Good to get it checked - but yes, if it's been 7 years with these should be a-ok. 

Also, I would encourage you to tell someone, just chose the right person, as it's obviuosly weighing on you alone.

im 17 and have the exact same things as you. I've always told myself not to be worried because I've always have the lumps but they are very large.

i was just wondering what your doctor said and whether you think I should get it checked out too? I hope you're okay.
