Hi. I had mammo ultrasound and biopsies taken for last Tuesday for a lump in my right breast. Was told 1-2 wk wait but the doctor is on leave on the 2nd wk so my apt is now on the 20th of June!
The lady who did the ultrasound and biopsies said (when I asked her) that it could be scar tissue, but said I'm complexed because I have scaring from an opp 2yrs ago for recurring abscesses.
But when seen by the care team doctor after she said that they have found a couple of suspicious areas in the lump and that the good thing is, it's not the whole lump ? She also said all my lymph nodes looked clear.
So I'm now wondering are they testing to see what the lump is or just those areas or both ? Im thinking they no the areas are bad but dont no what the lump is.
Any1 else been told just suspicious areas of a lump ? X
