Thank you for your reply, Im only 24 so my doctors thinks its most likely Fibrocystic disease or a cyst but she did say that it was hard to examine my breasts as they are quite large (34G). She didnt give me any medication. Im hoping its just that, will update in a few weeks after my appointment. xx

Hi both 

It is perfectly normal procedure to be referred to a breast clinic if a lump is found in the breast. Where I live we get seen within 2 weeks. Depending on your ages you will either have an ultrasound scan,mammogram or both. You may also have the lumps biopsied.

I haven’t got my appointment for a check up until the 18th and if the lump is still there I then get referred. Xx

Hi all, I went back to the doctors last week and have had an appointment given to me within 2 days which is tomorrow. I’m being seen within 9 days of being referred I tough that was really good considering most people are waiting loads longer?. Don’t know what to expect from tomorrow. But will update after. X
