Awaiting a hospital referral. I've been back and forth to the Dr's for the last 18 months. Ibs flare ups that changed, including vomiting,  blood on the toilet paper, general fatigue. Blood tests show some inflammation but apparently OK in general, stool sample came back fine. I phone the Dr's 8 weeks ago due to the alarming amount of blood and mucus I was passing and was told over the phone it was piles and to use some cream. My lower back aches I never feel like I'm successfully emptying my bowel when I go to the toilet and the cream just didn't work. So I decided to pre book an appointment to see a different Dr.

I  I took photos of what I was finding on the toilet paper as 'proof' as I've felt dismissed by Dr's over the blood in my stools. She checked me and has said there are no piles she is thankfully sending me to the hospital and has  requested I'm seen urgently but has said that due to my other tests coming back negetive they may not see me that quickly. I'm a tad worried. Wonders if I should try get some money together and see about getting an examination done privately. Any ideas how long I could be waiting for?
