I went to my gp for prolapse issues and she examined me and asked if my smears were up to date which they are and all clear at October 2018

she said I had ulceration which was concerning her and that I would be referred on the two week pathway - she gave me a pamphlet and now I’m thinking how can I have cancer if I had a clear screen in October  and a abdominal ultrasound scan in March which showed nothing urgent except a long standing ovarian cyst?  I’ve had burning pain on my right side which I asked about again 2 weeks ago but was told probably your cyst again 

now I’m really scared and don’t have an appt until 20 June because there is nothing in the 2 week wait available
