I have had a cold for about 6 days and one morning at the start my neck was tender on both sides and slightly swollen. I though this was a bit odd as with a cold i have never had my glands swell up before. Anyways over the last few days the gland under my left ear has been swelling up. It feels very tender and is noticable without touching it as well, however it is not painful to touch, it just makes my neck feel a bit stiff. 

I am worried what this is as it has never happened again and i have probably dones the worst thing and googled it an everything is saying that its either nothing too serious or something very serious so i am quite worried about it. I cant go to the GP till Monday so i am stuck with my thoughts untill then.

Any insight on the matter would be much apreciated. P.S i am a 20 year old man.
