Hi, I'm in a similiar situation to you although I found a lump.  My gp asked me to contact him if I hadn't heard in a week so yesterday I called him and he contacted them.  I had a call today to make an appointment but it wasn't until the 10th June,  informed my gp who asked me to go back to see him this afternoon, I had another examination and he has contacted them again today and told them that he wants me seen urgently now xx I started a thread earlier and another lovely lady has been messaging me today who is in the same boat, please come and chat with us , we both understand how terrifying the wait is and we have been helping each other today xxx can't remember what I called it ....something like waiting for breast clinic appt! It would be nice if you felt that you could chat with us xxxxx

I can't imagine the feelings you must be going through right now. I can't really answer any of your questions, but I just wanted to offer support.

I'm not sure how long it would take for a referral. Are you able to call them and see if an appointment has been made for you? I remember when my dad was first diagnosed with stage 4 cancer he had a number of appointments that he had to go to, and there were a couple times where they had forgotten to call him or they had mixed up the appointments. I'm sorry I can't be of much help with advice for you. I hope that you're going to be okay, and please keep us updated.
