it must be good to have a date set in your mind. I’m sorry you have to wait over the weekend though. I know what I was like last a weekend. Honestly trying to be brave, but I would just go and cry in the toilet every few hours, as was just so anxious and worried. My friend works at the hospital in the breast clinic, and she said people always say the wait is the bit that gets to them. If u want to chat over the weekend just message me. X

I'm sure my 2 teenagers and 7 yr old will keep me busy ! Lol night times are the worse though when its quiet the mind tends to go into overdrive! 

Husband supports me but in his own way bless him and I havent told family members yet as dont want to worry them if it's nothing.

it’s been a rather strange week, such a rollercoaster of emotions.

Hi.

Well I had my breast screening done yesterday, mammogram, ultrasound then had to have biopsies.

Then the doctor called me in to say what they had found. Her words were...

there is a couple of suspicious areas in the lump that needs more investigating hence biopsies, more like splogges but the good thing is it's just areas an not the whole lump then went on to say that my lymph nodes all look ok so nothing their to be concerned about. They categorised me at 3 which basically means they are not sure if it's the C or not, again hence biopsies. I did ask the lady that did the ultrasound and biopsies If she could tell me something anything ! And all she said was... it could possibly be scar tissue (from an opp i had 3 years ago! But that I'm a complexed case and said...I dont want to risk telling you that incase its not and wants to be 100% sure.

They didnt say any other causes for the abnormality so I'm guessing its 50/50 so in a nutshell Im no further forward.

They said it will be about 1 week for the results and said they will try to book my appointment for next Thursday.

So more waiting but I have a funny feeling they are testing biopsies to rule out scar tissue and not the C ! Scar tissue fills/replace the whole where tissue has been taking out, but I have no lumps in that area which is by the areola.

Hi ladies, for the 2 of you who were given cysts as your diagnosis, what did the lump feel like? Where was it placed in your breast? How big was it? I’m concerned mine is more than a cyst but don’t want to rely on google to help me ....

I am Thankyou. 

So you still have another weeks wait? It seems never ending. X 

mine was the left breast. Left side, at just below the 9 o clock position. It let firm, 100% a lump. Couldn’t miss it when I felt for it. It didn’t really move around either. It almost felt like marble size. Anything else just message me xx 

Yes another weeks wait call me paranoid lol but from how the doctor and ultrasound lady spoke to me I'm convinced the abnormal splogges as they called it is the C within the lump and they no that but need to find out what the actual lump is !

I'm preparing myself for the worst lol but rather that than think its nothing then to be told the worst.

What will be will be, just have to face it and fight through. I told my mum and sister today but not all the facts, just said it could be scar tissue, she used a whole loo roll
