went to my clinic appointment yesterday what a lovely experience in a stressful time arrived at the unit went straight in saw the breast nurse who examined me felt the lump clearly went straight into my mamogram went back to waiting room for approx 10 minutes the called in for ulrasound done by consultant radiologist everything was ex[alined what he was doing no lumps in nodes but found another smaller lump in same breast he expalined biopsys were needed he numbed the breast stung for a few second nothing bad and took 4 core biopsys from both lumps. My husband was with me through out steri strips were placed over wound and dressing placed given instructions how to care for dressing went staight back to breast nurse people maybe aware am going on a trip of a lifetime weekend at frist they made me an appointment for next thursday expalined i was on holiday appointment rearranged for the week i return no problem. Was there for 1 hour 40 minutes in total was made to feel at ease at every stage breast a little tender but not requires pain releif. ~Now can go away and enjoy my holiday and be assured will get results as soon as i get back.
