Hi...I had an extremely heavy uterinal bleed about 6 weeks ago. I was hospitalised for a week and due to very low haemoglobin had a couple of blood transfusions. I had a hysteroscopy which showed a large polyp and this was removed at the same time. They took a routine biopsy of my womb lining. This was 4 weeks ago and I received a letter today saying ‘results from your biopsy have shown some changes in the lining of the womb which need treatment. This is not dangerous but the treatment is best explained in person’
I am worrying about what it might be...anyone had anything similar? My assumption is hyperplasia of some kind. Not sure whether the ‘not dangerous ‘ wording means not cancer?
