evening. hope you ladies are ok. ive been super busy working so only now had chance to get on here. 

feeling more positive that i know i’m not the only one going through the anxious waiting stage. 

been to my gp and she was shocked that i haven’t heard of the breast clinic yet. she’s advised me to wait until wednesday and if i still haven’t heard to ring her so she can get someone to fast track the appointment. 

Hi Morgan xx that's very similiar to what has happened with me! My gp sent another urgent referral through yesterday but I haven't heard anything so it will be next week now.  I just want it sorted now so I can deal with whatever it is.  I hope that you aren't worried too much xxxxx

I Was in the same same position that you are now a couple of weeks ago.I found quite a big lump in my left breast which completely freaked me out because I knew what it could mean.My mum died from breast cancer she as 56 years old.i want to my Gp who gave me an urgent referral to the breast clinic which I went to on Friday.The doctor ordered an ultrasound which confirmed that it was a big cysts.Most lump are nothing to worry about.I had no pain either with mine. As it has grown big like that over a few weeks sounds like it could be a cyst because they can come up and grow really quickly which mine did.You are doing the right thing buy getting it checked.try not to worry I know it's easier said them done I was completely worried and scared as to what it might be.Having history doesn't mean you will get breast cancer.

That seems a ridiculous length of time to wait!! I too will be around 6 weeks from seeing the gp to actually having my appt on the 10th June and the wait is driving me mad! If I lived in England i would have been seen and had my results by now!!

I have no idea of the cost of going private sorry, but I'm sure someone on here will have an idea for you x

hello. sorry been meaning to update. so the private breast clinic actucally turned out too expensive for me. so i had to cancel their appointment. i had an appointment for the 18th june however 2 days prior it was cancelled. so i now have an appointment for the 2nd july. which will mean i’ve been waiting 9 weeks. 9 weeks of stress and anxiety. 

how did your appointment go? what did they say/ do im really anxious about my appointment.
