I had ductal excision/biopsy yesterday. Prior to surgery th
e co sultant told me that I would see her in about 6 weeks, the dressing could be removed in about three days and I would only need Paracetamol for pain relief. However after the operation I was told I will see the consultant on the 27th May leave dressing on and was written up for much stronger pain relief for 7 days. As there seems to be a big difference from before and after surgery I am now quite concerned.
