Hi I have had indegesition  and constant burping for 3 months the doctor as tryed me with different medication and none of it's worked, I have lost some weight so my doctor is reffering me for a camera down throat but he as put as non urgent because I don't meet the criteria I am so worried as it's been left for so long and why can't the doctor put me as urgent .

  • I'm sorry none of the medication has helped but hopefully the referral will get you a step closer to finding out what's causing these symptoms.

    It may be best to discuss your concerns with your doctor as they will be able to answer your questions about the referral but you're more than welcome to have a quick chat with our lovely cancer nurses about this as well.
