I’m an 18 year old girl and really just looking to see if anyone has had the same experience as me and if not to maybe help someone in the same position. A few months ago, possibly in March I became very unwell. I had a swollen lymph node in my neck, you couldn’t see it but you could most definitely feel this lump. I had just gotten over tonsillitis and then it had came back again after this, the lymph node has not gone down. It’s now may and it’s the same size as before with no change. I frequently feel ill after eating and have a general feeling of unwell. I’m very fatigued all of the time and often get tingly fingertips. In addition to this my spleen is enlarged and my vision has become worse. I went to the doctors and they tested me for glandular fever. This came back negative however I have had EBV in my life. I had then visited another doctor who told me I have glandular fever regardless of the test results. Im most definitely sure it’s not glandular fever. I’m not sure what to do so I thought a post on here would be a good start. Thank you.
