Hello, 

It's my first time posting here after a visit to my GP today. 

For the past 3 months I have been suffering with what I can only describe as a dull ache in my left breast and armpit. It isn't a sharp pain but it is constant and can make me feel nauseous at times. I haven't felt a lump but there is tissue which I would describe as feeling more fibrous and thicker than in the right. I just thought it was hormonal or down to an ill fitting bra so have been taking paracetamol and plodding on.

About a month ago I started to notice that my nipple, when not erect has started to invert but this is easily rectified when manipulated so I didn't really think much of it, until watching the very brave celebs who bare all on ITV this week and hearing Victoria Derbyshire's account of her breast cancer battle.

I have just returned from a Dr's appointment and been referred to the breast clinic at the hospital for further specialist testing. I honestly was expecting to be told it was fine, normal not to be told she thought it could possibly be breast cancer. I am 31, have two children whom I breastfed so I feel the odds are in my favour.

I'd be grateful if any one with similar symptoms could share their stories with me,
