And your so so welcome ... we have all been where you are now ...waiting to find out ... 8.5 out of 10 lumps are benign... so it's good odds .. but it doesn't stop us wondering if it could be positive ...

Well there's lots of us breast lasses on here.... all knowing that feeling ... your deff not alone ... so glad you found us ... my first four call backs from mamorgrams were all clear... just the last one was breast cancer ... I had a grade 3 and thought my number was up ...

But I'm still here nearly two years on and doing well ... lots of other breast lasses on here are doing o.k and kicking cancers butt .. we hold each other up when low and and chat about the good bits .. yes there are a few of them too .. so whichever way it goes , let us know ... try not to over worry till you know ... it just could be o.k ... keep as busy as poss ... sending you a vertual hug.... Yes you are right not worth getting worked up about as yet. I think my initial response was shock as hadn’t expected anything at all.

Hey there, welcome to the Calcifications club!

i had my biopsy done on Tuesday...not sore today now, the procedure was different to say the least wish I’d taken someone with me as had a complete breakdown prior to it!

i have calcifications behind my nipple which weren’t there on my last mamogram 2 and a half years ago..

results back next Thursday...the wait is a killer.

trying to be positive and thank if it’s a nasty then at least hopefully it will have been caught early (no lumps present)

was in total shock too a had expected all my pain to be cyst associated as I’ve had a load of cysts in that breath over the years but nope they weren’t there. Am hoping it’s my age and they they were just being cautious in giving a biopsy

I have heard today that they missed it on the biopsy and I have to go back for a more precise one this Friday. Does anyone know anything about a more precise biopsy?

Maybe they used an older machine? According to my radiologists they had gotten a new machine the day I went as 6ue old one wasn't precise enough

I think I have researched it and have an idea. First time around I had ultrasound guided core biopsy which is where she missed it (she thought that after putting the clip in and a remammogram showing this but needed to wait for results) 

So the consultant talked about a more precise biopsy which is think will be mammogram led or maybe even mri led? 

I see. I had a stereotatic I think I may have Spelt that wrong biopsy. Long procedure but apparently she got everything with it x
