Advice on Gastroenterology appointment

Am currently waiting on a gastroenterology appointment, I havnt been told anything about this appointment & what I’ll be receiving. 

Any advice please on what to expect, my GP told me I need a colonoscopy but I’ve been referred to gastroententerology with no information or any special requirements before hand. Thanks

    I noticed you hadn't had a response yet so I just wanted to welcome you to the forum and put you in touch with [@Shakingmad]‍ as they also had no information before they went for their appointment so hopefully they'll pop by when they can to let you know what happened when they saw their gastroenterologist the other day.

    Our cancer nurses will be available next week if you'd like to have a quick chat with them about this as well. Their number is 0808 800 4040 and their phone lines are open Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.

    Hi Lola 

    I had urgent referral for endoscopy 2 weeks ago. I went to appointment yesterday. They literally just went through symptoms and then booked an urgent endoscopy for Thursday. Will go from there. I was weighed but no blood pressure or any other examination.

    Hope this helps.
