Little advice needed please

Has anyone got a little advice please. Over a year ago I found a lump, pea size in my right breast I kept an eye on it for any changes. My lymph nodes under my arm kept swelling. I went to the doctors just to get it checked out. She could feel the lump and told me to go back if there was any changes as she didn’t feel the need to investigate because of my age 26. Now a year on it’s still there my breast feels delicate to touch I’m still getting the swelling under the armpit and I’m getting pain around the collarbone and up my neck. Could this be related?. Do I go back the docs? They just made me feel really silly last time. Thanks in advance

  • Hi there lovemysons (me too)

Deff go back .. 8.5 out of 10 lumps are benign... but they should all be refured to double check ... it's really rare at your age ..l but not impossible ... they should put you on a two week refural ... don't panic it's the norm .. my first 4 lumps were benign...

So go on, make that appointment... let us know how you go ... Chrissie x

  • Hi Chrissie

Firstly thank you for your advice it’s put my mind at ease. I’m going get myself booked in tomorrow see a different doctor this time. They just brushed it off before the doctor said she could feel the lump and she wasn’t sure what it was and she could feel my armpit was swollen. She said If it was to get bigger then go back but don’t worry I’m young. Which i totally understand because of my age that she weren’t concerned but it made me feel a bit bad because they didn’t want to investigate any further. I will keep everyone updated thanks again. X

  • Thanks for your advice Billy.

I’m going get booked in to see a different doctor tomorrow and stand my ground until I’m happy with the outcome.

    Thanks again
