Sometimes talking with those closer to us like our parents can seem like a real challenge but please try to bear in mind that they usually want what is best for us, that to say that there may be a reason why your mum doesn't seem too concerned about the lump you found.
If this keeps bothering you is there any other adult in your family you feel comfortable enough to a chat with and ask for an opinion? Sometimes it does help to have a chat with a close relative, for example. Ot perhaps an advisor at school?
