ok so I received my results yesterday, I have or had stage 2 melanoma.  It hadn't gone down too far only 0.7mm which is a bonus but I've still got to have a further procedure to make sure they didn't leave any behind surrounding it.

I've also been told that I can't sit in the sun any more (not that I did beforehand without cream on) but I' going on holiday to Turkey in 4 weeks time so I shall be the one sitting underneath the umbrella dressed like a beekeeper!  I have stocked up on factor 50 and bought myself a hat but she told me to wear shorts and t-shirt on the beach/around the pool but as long as I sit under my umbrella hopefully I will be ok.

So it would seem that I have beaten cancer for a second time in 10 years. Go me
