HI all.

I had a routine GP HRT review after some bleeding, and she arranged an ultrasound for me which I had 3 days later. Due to the GP never reading the results etc etc, it was a month before I saw her again to find out what they found.  After  I kept phoning the surgery and constantly being told "Dr hasn't had tie to look at the results yet"  I got rather cheesed off with the whole thing and presumed  there was no issue, otherwise surely somoene would have bothered to read their trst results???

Anyway, when I did she the gp she said  she would send me to the hospital on a 2week appointment but didn't say what that was, or why.  I got home and Googled it and found its a ppssible cancer risk??  Panic!!

Anyway,, the appointment is tomorrow (3 and a bit weeks later, but hey ho), and I've just checked the consultants details to find out he specialised in gastric bands and  GI surgery, nothing to do with gyneacology at all!!!

Is it worth bothering to go? I'm presuming he won't have a clue what he is doing, and I get the feeling I'm being given this to keep me quiet, tick a box  for the hospitals records etc etc and its a waste of time?

Should I complain about it?  Seems both the GP and hospital have been a bit  negligent in their handling of it? Not sure whether to be angry or let down or just shake it off and get on with life....Feeling betrayed tbh.

Any thoughts??
