Hi everyone, I'm just after a bit of advice and if anyone has been through similar to me. Just for a bit of background information, I'm 31 and have 3 children, I've had pain during sex for a fair few years now but only every now and then. For the past few months it's been happening more often and I've had occasional bleeding after sex too. My periods have completely changed, I bleed very heavily for the first few days, pass large, painful clots with severe period pain and with my last period only lasted 3 days as opposed to my normal 6-7 days. I experience bloating and horrific pain through my pelvis, lower abdomen and lower back. I've been urinating more frequently and have found I have an urgency to urinate, no build up. I also feel very nauseous most days but haven't vomited from it.

I was sent for a pelvic ultrasound and was told that the results showed that I have an enlarged right ovary, they couldn't see my left ovary as my bowel was obstructing it. The dr said there was some free fluid in my pelvis too. She said the scan has ruled out polycystic ovaries and endometriosis. I'm seeing my dr tomorrow about the findings as the dr who I spoke to about my scan results has said I'd likely be sent for further testing. I'm worried that my symptoms seem very similar to ovarian cancer symptoms and I'm just wondering if anyone else has had scan results similar to mine and can shed some light on what the next steps might be for me.
