Over 50’s stool sample positive

Hi I am 37 years olds, I am a female. I have had Diarrhea for 6 weeks and my doctor done a stool sample for people over 50 I think it’s called a FIT test and it’s came back positive they have put me on tablets for the Diarrhea and after been on them for 1 week I am now constipated and been referred can anyone explain to me what could be going on??

    I think your doctor will be the best person to discuss this with so maybe you can get in touch with them once the bank holiday weekend is over to get your questions answered.
