Lump in armpit

hi there,

i have recently discovered a lump in my left armpit, it’s very sore. I’m 26 and not on the pill, since coming off the pill I have found my body has changed a lot, I have had soreness around my armpits for a few months now but now only in the left with the lump. 

Should I worry? 

Im reluctant to go to the GP as I’ve been in and out of there for a stomach ulcer recently. 

 

Any my advice would be great

    Hi Steph, 

    I used to get sore lumps in my armpits when I was younger and on the pill, I went to the docs, worried as you are but they told me its just a gland that has become inflammed. You coming off the pill and along with you body going through changes, it does sound like this but I would go to your docs to get it checked anyway for your peace of mind. Don't worry about going in there alot, they are there to help and take care of you when you need it, they wont mind at all, I'm always in my doctors. It will take your body a while to ajust to coming off the pill but I hope you'll start to feel better soon.
