4-5 cm lump in breast awaiting referral

I have recently found a lump in my right breast. Today I went to see my doctor who said it feels about 4-5cm she also aaid she could feel 2 other lumps in the left breast about 2cm but these are movable. She had referred me to the breast clinic so I now just have to wait. 

I have noticed in the last few months that I have been getting a burning poker type sensation in my right breast a bit like when I had mastitis after a baby. 

Has anyone had any experience of this. 

Any help appreciated.

    Hello-mumof4, 

    I hope you won't have to wait too long for your appointment at the breast clinic. Have you mentioned this burning sensation in your right breast to your doctor? If not, I think it would be a good idea to bring it up either by going back to your GP or when you have your appointment at the breast clinic. 

    I also hope you will hear from some of our members who may have experienced this type of sensation themselves before.
