A bit worried

I am 18 years old. I have PCOS and a family history of cervical and breast cancers on both sides. I haven't had a period in over a year. 

The past couple of months I have been getting shooting pains in my right side of my right breast. Yesterday I woke up and had a long, deep, vertical indent about 2 inches from my nipple. My nipple and by my armpit are quite tender and I'm getting frequent sharp pains. 

Do you think I should be worried? I'm going to see my nurse practitioner tomorrow. I know it will most likely be something benign but I'm an anxious person.

Any reply will be appreciated, I'm a worrier

    worried here too. I think you’re already on the right track getting it checked out by a professional <3

    i am at the end of a two week wait for an ultrasound on my right breast. Finally I’ll have some sort of news about it tomorrow.

     

    just keep doing the things you love doing, simple stuff to stay relaxed and tomorrow you’ll have more peace of mind :)

    Hi Pam,

    I went to see the doctor and she told me that because of the weight of my breast (much larger than my left one) and the fact i despise bras are the reasons i'm getting a lot of pain and the indent. i feel a bit silly now but at least my mind has been put to rest.

    Have you had your scan results?
