Poor you. That is so hard for you, and at the worst time with your finals coming up. In my experience, the most stressful thing is not knowing. What I would do is ring the hospital and tell them what you have found, and be guided by what they say. If you will need treatment, let your college know the position. You will almost certainly find there is a lot of support available for you if you tell people, and that will help you cope with the stress of it. Don't try and deal with it on your own.
