I'm sorry about cysts that have been found and the worry they are causing but hopefully it won't be long before they can be removed. Your medical team will be able to answer your question, so do get back in touch with them to find out when your appointment may be.

It can be scary reading things online, especially using Dr Google, but try to stop yourself from doing this if you can as it has tendency to make our worries and fears worse. If you'd like to talk to someone, our cancer nurses are just a phone call away. They'll be back in the office on Tuesday when you'll be able to call them on 0808 800 4040 between 9a.m - 5p.m.

I had an 11cm one removed 10yrs ago....like you they found another which didn't show up on screen .....didnt have it removed because I also thought about having children .... about a year ago I started bleeding alot ....they first put it down to menopause but eventually gave me a scan as I was concerned about growth .....what was once 5 cm had grown off screen ....scan woman thought at time it had spilt into two .... like you I wasn't aware how dangerous it could be .... this scan woman pretty much said it how it was .... I also felt like a ticking time bomb ....so I totally get what ya saying .... I went to a &e  as I was concerned after sharp pains ......he totally  put my mind at rest .....saying how they have all information on me so they will know what to do....plus I knew the pain he really made me feel better about it all  ....I'd also had a rupture on previous one ..... they got me  in around 5 weeks later ive now had it removed only to find out that it was cancerous .....this is very rare ....apparently 8/9% in the world according to my specialist ....not sure if there trying to make me feel better .... just wish someone would of explained things better at the time to me as I would of took it out years ago if I had known this ...... the hardest part is waiting  to go in ....waiting for test results ....
