new here and just looking some help please

Hi there just joined and want to say hi to all on forum

I had a hysteroscopy on Friday and the consultant called in to see me before I left to say he found it difficult but finally got to see my lining which he described as fluffy and also said he had taken a biopsy and it would be two weeks before results came back and he would let me know

Now he did ask if I had any questions but my head was just blank

First of all what did he mean by fluffy, it just makes it seem so harmless describing something as fluffy.  I had an endometrial ablation a few years ago so I really did not think there would be much lining there although they say it is 8mm thick.

I had sort of put it to the back of my mind as my mum has been sick but now this nagging worry has crept in ..did it take the full two weeks to get results back and will they just call me in if there is bad news or will they notify my own doctor

thanks

  • Hi there ...

Don't worry about the two week wait for result .. they get all the information in weather good or not .. they have a weekly meeting and go through each one .. it all takes time ... so just try and keep as busy as possible ... we all have that two week horrible wait ..

But fingers crossed for a good result ... Chrissie....
